BEN Williams & Mike Jode finished fourth overall and third in class on the recent Christmas Stages at Pembrey Racing Circuit. Carmarthen Motor Club attracted a capacity entry for their annual event.
The first two stages were extremely icy not allowing Williams to put the power down in the ABT Product's Lancer EVO6, but as the tarmac thawed times improved with four fastest on both stages three and four to move into the top five. The final stage saw another top five time to move up to fourth at the end. "Ben drove very well in difficult conditions especially this morning when it was very icy, then we were catching on average two cars per stage. The car never missed a beat thanks to the service crew for that" said a happy Mike Jode.
