CALDICOT Comprehensive School was a hive of joy last Thursday (15th August) with record A-level results recorded.

"33 per cent of students achieved a grade A*- B, which was seven per cent above our targets," said deputy head teacher Gareth Whitcombe.

"71 per cent of students achieved a grade A*- C which is five per cent above target and all together 99 per cent of students passed at least one A-level.

"The school's trend is going upwards and continues to do so thanks to a strong partnership between the school, pupils and parents."
