A MODEL and actress from Caldicot has been featured on the front cover of a new book.

Rachael Beagen, 26, recently swapped her career in customer services to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an actress. Having enjoyed early success in the modelling industry and finding work as a supporting actress, she was the perfect fit to promote this new novel.

Miss Beagen said:  "I am loving the time I spend modelling and I enjoy being on film sets. So far there have been no real regrets."

The novel, Diary of a Zombie Killer, is written by author Terry Black and is set in Wales.

After an unexpected inheritance facilitates a move to the picturesque Welsh countryside the new found tranquillity soon descends into an unholy nightmare.
