CALDICOT Leisure Centre is now host to the netball tots, a group teaching the basic key skills of netball to three to six-year-olds through fun, games and play.

The scheme is run across south east Wales and is delivered by fully qualified Welsh netball coaches.

Jennifer Evans, netball development officer, said: "The project is run all over south east Wales and it's very much a play to learn activity. We teach children the fundamentals of the sport, they learn how to run, jump, catch and so on.

"The scheme is run across south east Wales, in Caerphilly, Torfaen, Newport and we're now trying to bring it to Monmouthshire.

"The response we've had so far has been terrific, the children love it and so do the parents."

Caldicot Netball Tots is run every Monday at Caldicot Leisure Centre from 5pm to 6pm.
