BUSY Bodies nursery is celebrating after receiving a 'good' Estyn report.

The Babington Centre based nursery has been meeting for more than 40 years and is currently catering for 23 children.

Reporting inspector Mary Dyas praised the relationship between adults and children as being warm and caring. She found the children were happy in the Trellech setting and behaved well.

The staff were found to work together as a strong team and were focussed on improving the nursery's provision for its children.

Busy Bodies at Trellech Playgroup were delighted with the result of their Estyn report.

Tracy Price, supervisor for Busy Bodies congratulated her committee and outstanding staff. She said: "I am very proud of the Estyn report comments."

Laura Sims, chair of the committee, said: "The Estyn report is great. Busy Bodies is a fantastic playgroup where each child is encouraged and valued, and we will continue to provide the very highest standard of preschool education."

Last Thursday (26th February) the playgroup paid a visit to Humble by Nature. The children had fun on the farm whilst learning how a farm operates.

The children received a tour of the farm conducted by Farmer Tim. They saw all the animals and were lucky enough to see twin lambs being born, quickly named Busy and Bodies.
