A burst water main has today closed another road in Monmouthshire.

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water has said an emergency road closure is now in place at the B4347, Porthygaelod Farm to Post Office Row, Rockfield.

It is anticipated the closure will be in place until (and including) Monday December 5 while staff carry out repair work.

Earlier today the company said it was dealing with a burst water main in Chapel Farm Road in Mitchel Troy. This road is likely to be closed until Tuesday, December 6.
