THE British Red Cross have support for people who’s properties have been affected by the recent flooding in Monmouthshire.

If your property has been affected by the flash flooding, you could be able to receive £100 of cash support but your eligibility must be verified by the local authority.

Support is only available to those who contact with the British Red Cross before 12pm on Monday November 24. You can do this by visiting the Humanitarian Assistance Centre at Shire Hall in Monmouth or by contacting the British Red Cross National Support Line on 0808 196 3651 or emailing [email protected] and leaving your name, phone number, address and how you have been impacted by the flooding.

Cash will only be provided following verification of eligibility by the Local Authority, if you can’t verify you have been impacted you won’t be offered the support.
