The Bra Girls have revealed the secret behind their marathon success – a packet of sweets for that all-important sugar boost.

Raglan fundraisers Julia Rennie and Julie Rogers have completed 10 marathons this year, raising an incredible £21,344 for Walk the Walk breast cancer charity.

The duo, who work at Puddleducks nursery in Raglan, completed the Dublin marathon on 31st October and the New York marathon a week later, bringing their challenge to an end.

For all 10 marathons Julia and Julie wore decorated bras to highlight their cause.

"It was a lot harder than we thought it was going to be," said Julie.
