The Ross Book Swap Shop is celebrating it's 10th year of operation and last week it celebrated World Book Day with a raffle for a £10 Colemans Gift Voucher which is to be drawn this week. World Book Day has been designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and is celebrated in over 100 countries around the globe. The day has been running for more than 10 years in the UK and has become established as the largest annual event promoting the enjoyment of books and reading. The Ross Book Swap shop would like to take this opportunity to local remind people that there is a great selection of books available for adults as well as younger readers. In order to take books out of the shop all they ask is a donation or an exchange of books. The Book Shop, based in Cantilupe Road near the Ross library, and Alison Fletcher who manages the shop said, "I would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone involved the shop, past and present. The Ross Book Swap Shop, run by EnviroAbility, is open 10 am to 4 pm except for Wednesdays and Sundays, all visitors are welcome.
