A BODY has been found in the search for missing Lydney woman Joanne Moller.

Gloucestershire Police confirmed that the discovery was made by the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) on Saturday (28th January).

Formal identification of the body is yet to take place but Joanne’s family have been told.

A spokesperson from SARA said: “SARA took part in a land search on Friday 27th January from 8pm to about 2am Saturday morning, and then resumed at 11am.

“The search in question involved SARA Beachley team plus teams from SARA Tewkesbury, Newport and Wyre Forest, and South Wales SARDA dog teams.

“It was a methodical and challenging search of a sloping, wooded, and in places a very overgrown area. Our thoughts are with the family.”
