A horse-riding youngster from Monmouthshire has become the youngest ever finalist at the British Pairs National Championships.
Eight-year-old Ben Hopkins, of Coed Morgan, and his partner Emily Norton, from Seven Sisters, took part in the Mounted Games at Uttoxeter Racecourse last weekend.
The pair were placed in the top seven after three qualifying sessions and went on to compete in the final.
Ben and Emily, who ride ponies Pollyanna and Racing Stripes, still have another five years competing at under 12s level, and could be a real force to be reckoned with in the future.
