Monmouth based bee charity Bees for Development have returned to Monmouth from Chelsea with an award celebrating their innovation.They won a bronze medal, for a beautiful creation of clay beehives in their “Beehive Garden of Arabia” at RHS Chelsea last week.

Pictured is Bees for Development director Dr Nicola Bradbear.The creators of the stand were Tilly Dallas and Finbar Ward.This was assisted by Bees for Development’s three sponsors; Beeble, who specialise in honey chocolate, honey whisky and honey beauty products; Mandarine Stone, who have supported countless community projects and specialise in interior design; and Thorne who trade in quality bee-keeping equipment.Bees for Development is a charity which makes life better with bees. They promote sustainable bee-keeping to combat poverty, build resilient livelihoods and benefit biodiversity.
