I know the devastating effects of bowel cancer. My mother has successfully beaten the disease, but my grandfather died of it and I'm not alone.

One in four people in the UK are touched by the disease in some way, either directly, or through family or friends. That's a staggering 13 million people.

To help beat bowel cancer, I've signed up to Beating Bowel Cancer's 'Bowel Movement'. We're aiming to get people talking openly about the disease, spread the word about symptoms, and take action to support people with bowel cancer and their families.
