Raglan Junior Football Club are celebrating the arrival of a new storage container with the support of a grant from Raglan Community Council.

Chairman Owen Batty said “I’m delighted at the arrival of the new container which will used to store the equipment of the football club.  The club has experienced fantastic growth in the last 12 months in our youth section.  Putting our equipment in the container will also free up space in the clubhouse so the local community can utilise this for other activities through Raglan Sports and Social Club”.

Community councillor Charlotte Exton said “Its great that the community council has been able to support this growing village club.  It is fantastic to see boys and girls of all ages using the facilities in the village. The football club is one of many grants the community council has supported this year.”

Raglan football club are also looking for sponsors to take advertising space at the club to help with the growth of this grassroots football club.
