WITH the 2000 season behind them Stuart and Wayne Grayer from Raglan attended the annual award dinner/dance at the Hanover International Hotel in Daventry to collect their awards for finishing in the top 10 of the National Mini Championships.

Stuart's award was for finishing sixth in the Dunlop Mini Se7en Championship and Wayne's was for finishing fifth in the Dunlop Mini Miglia Championship.

Further awards were collected by the Raglan pair when Stuart was awarded the Dunlop Cup for the most improved driver of the 2000 season and Wayne won the Peter Tisdale Trophy for having the best turned out/prepared Mini Miglia - an award that he promptly dedicated to Nigel Davies of the Skirrid Mountain Garage at Llanvihangel Crucorney who prepared/sprayed the car to such a high standard.

The 2001 racing season starts at the beginning of April and both Stuart and Wayne will be competing in the same championships, hoping to improve on their 2000 finishing positions.

To achieve this the team needs to secure backing to cover the increasing costs of top flight motor racing and are appealing to any interested parties who feel that they may be able to help to contact Grayer Racing on 01291 690765 (evenings).
