SIR,
I would like to encourage people working in social care in Monmouthshire to put their teams or organisations forward to be recognised at the Wales Social Care Accolades.
The idea behind the Accolades is to acknowledge and reward a workforce, which supports 150,000 people across Wales.
At any one time, one in 20 of the Welsh population is receiving social care. What these figures mean is that most families in Wales, at one time or another, will receive some kind of social care support. The best place to find out more about the accolades is http://www.ccwales.org.uk">www.ccwales.org.uk or by calling Denise French at the Care Council for Wales on 029 2078 0687.
