Winter is upon us again, so it is time for sick and disabled people over 65 to do something about applying for their entitlement of £67 a week attendance allowance.

Man and wife can also have it if they both qualify, equal to £7,000 per year.

It is neither means tested nor taxable and is certainly not charity, as we have paid for it in our stamps.

I am still doing home visits to help people with the forms. I bring them along and then submit them for approval, making life easier for everyone.

There are still too many who do not know what help is available to them.
