RAIL strikes that would affect services across Wales have been suspended after last minute talks.
Union RMT previously confirmed that Arriva Trains Wales staff would strike over a pay dispute this week. Driving staff were to strike for 48 hours from 00.01am on Thursday 12th to 11.59 pm on 13th November.
A spokesman from RMT said today: “After important progress in last minute talks with RMT and ASLEF, and after careful consideration by the union’s executive, we have agreed to suspend the strike action due to start on Arriva Trains Wales at midnight to allow for further discussions.
“Members have been instructed to work normally.“
