I would like to appeal to your readership through your letters page.

We are a group of concerned Monmouth residents who are challenging the county council and Welsh Government on the issues of air quality and noise pollution caused by the A40.

We want to hear from people who live close to the A40 in Monmouth who believe that their health is being affected by either noise or air pollution.

This could be from something as simple as disturbed sleep right through to breathing or respiratory problems.

We are particularly interested to hear from those who find that their condition improves when they are away from Monmouth for any length of time (or those who have moved house, away from the A40 and have found that their health has improved).
