I am trying to trace where my grandfather's name is listed on First World War Memorials.

He was Lance Corporal M Phillips of the South Wales Borderers, 11 Battalion. Reg No 22429.

He was born in Monmouth in 1884 to George and Sarah Phillips of Monmouth. The 1891 census gives their address as 67 Cinderhill Street Monmouth.

Sadly he was killed in action on the 31/07/1917 at Ypres.

If anyone recongises this name, or could tell me where it is listed on a memorial, please get in touch.
