MEMBERS of the public are being warned after the loss of a quantity of prescription drugs in Chepstow.

The drugs went missing following a routine pharmacy delivery on Thursday morning (13th October) in the Chepstow area.

The drugs, which were in a white paper bag, are described as two boxes of Amitriptyline 25mg and 50mg, a box of Citalopram 20mg, Butran patches and a large box of Co codamol.

Chief Inspector Martyn Smith said: “Taking medication that is not prescribed for you can be harmful or even prove fatal.”

Anyone who finds the medication should call Gwent Police on 101 quoting reference number 199 of 14/10/2016.
