IR,

I refer to the letter of 22nd December 2010 from Professor George Weston.

Firstly, our aircraft carriers will be transferred to France with the French planes on the carrier. On this basis, I would like to say you are wrong denying this and I don't know where you have got your information from.

How can you say that everything I said was in the wrong?

Secondly, the army is losing 7,000 troops; the ones with medical disabilities will be with the 7,000 due to go.

Then the army personnel will have a cut in their wage packets starting from this year. You said this was a load of nonsense.

How can you say again that I am wrong? Where do you get your information from to prove me wrong?

May I remind you Professor George Weston that I do my groundwork before I write any letters to the paper. Perhaps you do not know that I have been writing regular letters to the Beacon for the past 20 years.

It was army personnel that told me about the big cut in wages and that it would be January/ June 2011.
