Coleg Gwent's Usk Female Football Academy continued their British Colleges League campaign with another dream win by beating Coleg Sir Gar 6-1 in Carmarthen.
Jemma Heath, with four goals, and Lyndsey Davies with two did the damage, sending the Gwent side over the moon and into top spot in the league, with genuine hopes of winning the competition at the first time of asking.
The frantic first half was full of challenges and plenty of thrills, added to by some clear-cut chances from both sides.
But near the end of the second half the academy girls went in to an unassailable lead, and capitalised on their great form for the rest of the game.
Head Coach Leon Annett said: "They contained us well in the first 20 minutes but we were still creating chances so I was confident that eventually we would make the breakthrough."
