SIR,
You recently gave space to our MP regarding his expenses. Now that this heavily edited information is available I hope you will give some space to the dreadful abuse of public funds.
A first glance shows that although our MP claims to be competent to deal with and get involved in many subjects, he requires the taxpayers to pay over £500 to have his tax return completed - if he is unable to complete a tax return is he up to the job as an MP?
I trust the paper will give this matter the coverage that is clearly required.
