SIR,

May I use the columns of your newspaper to let your readers know that tickets for Off Centre Theatre's autumn production are on sale now?

The play is Agatha Christie's Spider's Web, a humourous murder mystery which will be performed at the Savoy Theatre, Church Street, from Wednesday 2nd to Saturday 5th November.

The Thursday performance is being given in support of a local breast cancer awareness charity.

As you would expect from the Grande Dame of the genre, Spider's Web is a cleverly crafted story of suspense, mystery and of course murder.

Agatha Christie wrote the play especially for the film star Margaret Lockwood; it opened in December 1954 at the Savoy Theatre, London. Now the Savoy Theatre Monmouth gets its own production.

It is a play that is sure to delight Monmouth theatregoers.

Tickets, for unreserved seating, are available from the Nelson Museum, Bojangles in Monnow Street or on line at the Savoy Theatre website monmouth-savoy.co.uk

To make a block booking of 10 or more reserved seats and get a free ticket, call Anne MacFarlane on 01600 713415.
