The Director of Sixth Form, Miss Caroline Edginton, said how delighted she was with the hard work of students and their determination to succeed:
“We are very proud of our students and their achievements. As a fully comprehensive school, we nurture and develop each individual, and we are so pleased to watch them grow in confidence and ambition. Our students are enormously talented and able in so many fields of study and skill, and it is such a rewarding experience for our staff to watch them grow into fully rounded, ambitious young people.”
The Headteacher at MCS, Mr Hutchison, praised the work of students, families and staff in achieving such excellent results. Mr Hutchison said:
“I am delighted for every one of our students who are receiving their results today. Their achievements reflect not only academic ability but also the resilience, dedication, and determination they’ve shown throughout their time with us. Whether they’re heading to university, starting an apprenticeship, entering the workplace, or taking time to explore new paths, each of them should feel a deep sense of pride. They are more than just their results — they are thoughtful, compassionate, and capable young people with bright futures ahead of them.”
The school places an emphasis on opportunities for all students, ensuring support each individual onto the pathway that best suits their way of learning and their future goals.
