THE weather may not have been ideal but the 2018 Chepstow Show proved again to be a great success.
Held at Chepstow Racecourse, the annual show was host to a number of events including the Joseph Peace Fire Stunt Spectacular and the Rockwood Dog Display Team, along with other traditional displays from the vintage vehicles – featuring a bumper collection of cars and tractors – and machinery, the Woolaston Bassets, the Curre and Llangibby Hunt Parade of Hounds and the Grand Parade of Livestock.
There was also a full calendar of events in the horse section, including dressage, show jumping and several showing classes.
After a dry start, the forecast rain began in the middle of the day, which meant a damp end to proceedings.
Despite the inclement weather a number of people stuck to their guns and donned their coats and umbrellas.
Best large tradestand went to Classic Stoves, while best small tradestand went to Usk Country Markets for the second time in three years.
