Sir,
Intrigued at the local police force's traffic enforcement priorities, having seen what appeared to be a motorcycle officer using a radar speed gun on A446 Dixton Road on the very last stretch heading out of the town to the roundabout, rather ironically the one gridlocked at that time as a consequence of an incident on the A40 just around the corner.
One can't help but feel a uniformed officer may have been more profitably deployed helping resolve the chaos that this was causing, rather than providing what one is sure is always a valuable ongoing contribution to road safety, so necessary even outside of urban areas at, one is sure, an accident black spot?
