TWO people from Trellech were taken to hospital last night (22nd December) with suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

Monmouth crews from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended a property in Trellech following an alarm activation at 7.43pm.

The casualties were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital by ambulance.

A Monmouth crew also attended a chimney fire at a bungalow in Dingestow at 7.25pm
