A PRISONER who absconded from HMP Prescoed last Thursday has been located and arrested.

Gwent Police made an appeal for information to locate 60-year-old Christopher Pocock on 3rd September, after he went missing from the Usk prison.

Pocock was convicted for arson in March 2007 and released on license. He was recalled to prison in 2014.

He remains in police custody at this time.
