GWENT Police had a report yesterday (12th November) that a shed was broken into in the Pwllmeyric area of Chepstow.

The door was forced and entry gained but police are unsure at this time if anything was taken.

They are advising residents to make sure sheds and outbuildings are secure with locks, lighting and alarms if possible.

A spokesperson said: “Most people have a lot of possessions in their sheds so make them secure, and if you are away let trusted neighbours know so that they can keep an eye out for you.

“We have had several shed breaks in the rural areas of Chepstow recently so please be aware.”
