POLICE are appealing for information about a number of crimes which took place in the south of Monmouthshire at the end of October.

They are looking for the driver of a white flatbed truck after a trimmer worth hundreds of pounds was stolen in Caldicot.

At approximately 1.30pm on Friday 27th October police received a report of a theft of a Webb multi-tool trimmer worth approximately £300 from a driveway on Green Lane in Caldicot.

Following enquiries officers would like to speak with the driver of a white flatbed truck with the wording “Price and Daughters” written on the rear of the vehicle, as it’s believed they may be able to help with the investigation.

A push bike was stolen from Heron Road, Caldicot on the night of Saturday, 28th October.

At approximately 6.30pm a unknown person/s took a blue Raleigh bike with a Flintstone bell on it from the property.

If anyone has any information/CCTV footage in relation to this they are asked to contact Gwent Police on 101 quoting incident number: GWP-20171028-0427.

Both sets of number plates were stolen off a car parked in Bulwark earlier this week.

Sometime between 5pm on the Sunday 29th October and 10am Tuesday, 31st October the number plates T705MVX were taken off a vehicle whilst parked at a property on Middle Way in Bulwark.

Anyone with any information regarding this theft should call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log number 135 - 31/10/17.

A Business in Caldicot was broken into late in the evening of Friday, 27th October.

The business on Newport Road was broken into at approximately 9.15pm, entry was gained via smashing a window on a side door.
