MORE than 70 cannabis plants were seized by police yesterday (Wednesday 6th December) after they executed a warrant on land off Blackwall Lane in Magor.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 7.30am yesterday morning (Wednesday 6th December), officers carried out a warrant on a container in Magor and seized 70 cannabis plants.

“A 65 year old man was arrested and has been released under investigation.”
