GWENT Police are asking for help to find two 4x4 vehicles that were taken in two separate burglaries.

The first is a Range Rover Sport which was stolen from the drive of a property in Caldicot Road sometime overnight between Wednesday 4th November and Thursday 5th November. The keys were taken from inside the house.

Anyone with information should call 101, quoting log number 52 5/11/15.

The second theft was a Land Rover which was stolen from the drive of a house in Castle Lea, Caldicot sometime between the 24th and 30th October. Again the keys were taken from inside the house. The Land Rover is distinctive due to the round light on the front grills and the SARA badge in the passenger side window.

Anyone with any information on the vehicle should call 101, quoting log number 477 30/10/15.

Gwent Police are reminding residents to lock their doors, both front and back, even if they are in the house at the time. It’s also worth keeping car keys well hidden, even taking them upstairs at night. Just taking these two simple steps can help protect the public from this type of crime.
