A MAN has died after an industrial incident just outside Monmouth.

At 12.34pm on Wednesday (25th May), there were reports of an industrial incident at a property on Manson Lane, near Monmouth.

A 65 year old man from the Tredegar area was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rapid response cars, an emergency ambulance and two Wales Air Ambulances were sent to the scene, in addition to police officers and the fire service.

A joint investigation between Gwent Police and the Health and Safety Executive is on-going to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
