FOUR burglaries were carried out in Monmouth last week in the space of two days.

Gwent Police is appealing for information after break-ins were carried out on Tuesday 22nd September and Wednesday 23rd September.

Properties were broken into on Hook Close in Osbaston (log 463 22/09/15), Wyesham Avenue in Wyesham (log 169 23/09/15), Dixton Close in Dixton (log 260 23/09/15) and Cornpoppy Avenue in Over Monnow (log 277 23/09/15).

These four burglaries are currently being linked by police.  However, at this time they are not being linked to the previous series of burglaries experienced in the Osbaston area earlier this year.

Anyone with information relating to these incidents is asked to call 101 quoting the relevant log number.

Speaking yesterday (29th September) Gwent Police’s Detective Inspector Andrew Tuck said: “We’re still investigating all four burglaries and further enquiries are taking place to see if they are linked. Anyone with any information relating to these incidents are asked to call 101.”
