AN appeal has been launched after a theft of three diggers in Monmouth.

Gwent Police sent out an appeal for information after the theft of three excavators from the Eagle plant compound in Wonastow Industrial Estate which happened sometime between Friday 22nd January at 6pm and Sunday 24th January at 7pm.

The excavators are red and grey Takeuchi TB016Ss.

A white panel van was seen in the area at approximately 6.50pm, so police officers would like to speak to the driver of this vehicle who may be able to provide vital information.
