A 70-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a road traffic collision on the A466 near Llandogo.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “We received a report of a road traffic collision on the A466 at around 12.35pm on Friday, September 18.

“Officers attended alongside crews from the Welsh Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance.

“The collision involved a single motorbike. A 70-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

“The road remains closed at this time.”
