Monmouthshire County Council will be undertaking an investigation on the Railway bridge section of Wye Bridge on the A466 Monmouth.

The works will be carried out overnight with a traffic lights management system in place; the road will remain open. They will commence on Tuesday, May 7th, at 8 p.m. and finish at 6 a.m. Wednesday, May 8th.

This work is necessary in preparation for the resurfacing that will commence later in the year.

MCC Highways is discussing the construction phase with the designer and contractor.

Once the programme has been confirmed, stakeholders, businesses, and the local community will be informed of the plans and implications.
