Police dogs track down suspects

TWO men suspected of stealing a vehicle were tracked down by the Gwent Police Dog Section on Sunday 6th August.

Police were alerted to the vehicle after it was involved in a crash with another car and then abandoned near Usk.

A Gwent Police spokesperson said: “At approximately 4.50pm on Saturday 6th August, we received a report that a car had crashed into another vehicle on Cefn Mawr Lane near Usk and failed to stop. 

“The car was abandoned and after a search by our Dog Section, a 23-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking. 

“They have been released under investigation.”

"Police dogs track down suspects" Isn't that what they are supposed to do ? Next issue - "Baker makes cakes" ... or "Pub serves beer" ??
