Strong and stable

By Monmouthshire Beacon in

The hell that Brexit has visited upon us can be justified only on condition that in the end we will be better off than we are now. But the government is not giving that guarantee, hence Judith Perks’s question to parliamentary candidate David Davies; (‘What if deal leaves us worse off?’ 3rd May) how would he vote if disaster ensued.

On the basis of extensive correspondence I recently had with him, I can tell her and all your readers that he will rigidly pursue the party line, which now includes the Putin-style mendacity that we are all in love with Brexit.

From the depth of strong and stable hell.
