Teenager left with serious injuries after hit and run

A SEVENTEEN-year-old has been left with serious injuries after a hit and run incident in Caldicot yesterday evening (9th March).

The incident, which took place on Church Road in Caldicot at 6.30pm, left the male pedestrian in hospital receiving treatment.

A spokesperson from Gwent Police said: "Officers would particularly like to trace the driver of a red Vauxhall Corsa seen in the area at the time. The vehicle may have damage to its windows and may be missing the drivers side wing mirror."
